Why merchants trust us
Security, safety, and terms you can read.
We chose every part of the system so that your card data and your money are never at risk in our hands.
Read how we keep it safe- Security
Card data never touches your systems. Certified terminals encrypt at the tap. Online checkout runs in hosted fields. Cards on file are tokens, not numbers. Your PCI work shrinks to a short questionnaire.
- Safety
Your money is held by a regulated bank, never by us. Settlement runs through a sponsoring member bank registered with the card networks. Funds move from the network to the bank to your account. We instruct. We never hold.
- Transparency
One rate per transaction, nothing else. The same rate for every card, with no monthly fees. Your statement is sales, processing, and deposit. Month to month, with no early termination fee.
How it works
Four steps between the tap and your deposit.
Money never sits in an account we control.

Your customer pays. Card, phone, or browser wallet. The terminal or checkout encrypts it on the spot.
- 2
We route and price it. Our gateway sends it to the card network and has an answer in under two seconds.
- 3
Your sponsor bank settles. A regulated bank receives the funds. They never pass through us.
- 4
You get paid. The deposit lands the next business day, with a statement that matches it line by line.

Questions
Questions merchants ask.
How is pricing calculated?
One rate per transaction, the same for every card: 2.25% + $0.20 in person and 2.75% + $0.25 online. There are no monthly, setup, statement, or early termination fees. Your statement is your sales, one processing line, and the deposit.
How does that compare with what I pay now?
Most small-business plans charge around 2.60% + $0.15 in person and 3.30% + $0.30 online, often with a monthly fee on top. The estimator on the pricing page shows the difference at your volume and average sale.
Is there a contract or a termination fee?
Accounts are month to month. There is no early termination fee. If you leave, your hardware is yours and your data goes with you.
When do I get my money?
Batches settle to the bank account you already use. Standard funding lands the next business day. Between the sale and the deposit, your sponsor bank holds the money, not us.
What do I have to do for PCI?
Less than most. Our terminals encrypt card data before it reaches your systems, and online checkout runs in hosted fields. That keeps card numbers out of your environment and shortens your annual questionnaire. We walk you through it each year.
What hardware do I need?
A certified countertop or handheld terminal from PAX or Ingenico, shipped ready to use. If you sell on the go, Tap to Pay on iPhone works with no extra device. Online merchants need nothing physical.
Who is the bank behind this?
Every card processor works through a sponsoring member bank that is registered with the card networks. The bank holds merchant funds and settles them. Its name appears in the disclosure at the bottom of this page.
